The COVID-19 crisis has left state and local governments facing rising costs and plummeting revenues. In Buffalo, Kirsten joined Mayor Byron Brown and local leaders to urge the Senate to pass legislation to give our state and local governments direct federal relief.

In Rochester, Kirsten joined Rep. Joe Morelle and local leaders to call for direct federal relief funding to local governments as they respond to and recover from the COVID19 pandemic.

At Fire Station 1 in Syracuse, Kirsten joined local leaders to call for legislation to give state and local governments the economic relief that they desperately need.

July 15, 2020

Kirsten visited the Trudeau Institute in Saranac Lake. During this pandemic, the Institute has focused their important research efforts on the coronavirus and a COVID-19 vaccine.

Kirsten then paid a visit to CABVI Utica, which employs and trains blind and visually impaired employees to produce medical products and PPE.

Then, Kirsten toured PRG Scenic Technologies in New Windsor, NY. Known for entertainment and scenic production, the company recently revamped their manufacturing facility to produce face shields for frontline health care workers and thermal temperature scanning kiosks for workplaces.
